Initiatives For Our Community
BC SPCA alone, took in a total of 22,659 animals in 2017. 1,700 of which were given up due to lack of pet friendly housing. We work with local private rescue and foster groups that help families thrive and ensure that their pets are well taken care of during times of hardship.
Initiatives For Our Planet
Every year, approximately 31,000lbs of Hock Bones are sent to waste, which is the equivalent of 30%. We recognize our company is in an increasingly problematic industry for meat and sustainability. We aim to bring awareness to the problem and work towards a collective goal of reducing food waste while increasing sustainability through other alternatives.
